Every ICC member must handle complaints with impartiality, sensitivity, and strict adherence to due process. Course Content
Module 1: ICC Constitution, Powers & Legal Framework (1.5 Hours)
- Composition requirements of the Internal Committee (IC)
- Legal powers akin to a Civil Court under the POSH Act
- Obligations, responsibilities, and term limits of members
Module 2: Receiving Complaints & Conciliation (1.5 Hours)
- Structuring the initial intake interview and documentation
- Explaining timelines, limitation periods, and extension clauses
- Arranging conciliation vs. launching formal inquiries
Module 3: Conducting the Inquiry (2.5 Hours)
- Step-by-step inquiry processes and guidelines
- Ensuring natural justice for both complainant and respondent
- Evaluating evidence, witnesses, and cross-examination protocols
Module 4: Report Writing, Recommendations & Post-Inquiry (2.5 Hours)
- Drafting structured, legally compliant inquiry reports
- Formulating recommended disciplinary actions for management
- Confidentiality compliance and preventing victimization of parties

Sanya Talwar(LL.B. Hons.) is a legal professional with over a decade of experience in litigation, workplace compliance, and gender justice. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and other judicial forums, and serves as an Independent POSH Consultant, External ICC Member, and empanelled Legal Counsellor with the Delhi Legal Services Authority (DLSA). She has delivered 100+ POSH training sessions, conducted 31+ workplace inquiries and investigations, contributed to UN Women-vetted Skill India gender modules, and continues to support leading organizations and Government of India entities in workplace ethics, compliance, and legal awareness.
