Programme Overview
Culture is set at the top - and the way leaders speak, behave, and respond to difficult situations directly shapes whether the people around them feel safe, respected, and able to bring their best work. This session equips leaders with the insight, tools, and personal commitment to model the inclusive, zero-tolerance culture their organisations need: understanding their legal duties, responding appropriately to disclosures, and leading with accountability every day.
Course Content
Module 1: Leadership & Culture (1.5 Hours)
- Culture flows top-down: how leader actions shape day-to-day psychological safety disproportionately
- The cost of tolerance: assessing unaddressed behavioral issues
- Leadership blind spots: assessing personal biases
Module 2: Legal Duties & POSH Compliance (1 Hour)
- Statutory duties of employers and managers under the POSH Act
- Vicarious liability: organisational and individual exposure
- Defining victimisation and retaliation prevention safeguards
Module 3: Receiving Disclosures & Open Dialogue (1 Hour)
- First responder obligations: listen, believe, and do not investigate
- Skip-level check-ins and anonymous feedback loops
- Modelling vulnerability: how admitting mistakes gives staff permission to speak up
Module 4: Action Planning & Commitments (0.5 Hour)
- Individual leader self-reflection challenges
- Setting up 30-day behavioural commitment cards with peers
- Publishing IC contacts and escalating procedures safely

Sanya Talwar(LL.B. Hons.) is a legal professional with over a decade of experience in litigation, workplace compliance, and gender justice. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and other judicial forums, and serves as an Independent POSH Consultant, External ICC Member, and empanelled Legal Counsellor with the Delhi Legal Services Authority (DLSA). She has delivered 100+ POSH training sessions, conducted 31+ workplace inquiries and investigations, contributed to UN Women-vetted Skill India gender modules, and continues to support leading organizations and Government of India entities in workplace ethics, compliance, and legal awareness.
